Media Literacy Tip #1: Snopes.com

You probably run across news stories on a fairly regular basis that sound a little iffy or questionable. One great way to gauge how credible these stories are is to check a website called snopes.com.

Snopes.com has been around since 1994 and is a trusted resource for fact-checking news stories and viral content. Read more about Snopes.
